Connect Instagram from workspace connection settings using Instagram's OAuth authorization flow. The connection is for professional Instagram accounts: Business and Creator accounts are supported. A personal account may not provide the account type needed for the connection.

What the connection supports

Terano AI uses the connection to identify the account, read available profile and published-video information, and support analysis. Terano AI has read-only access and cannot post, edit or delete content on your Instagram account.

Permissions requested

Terano AI requests these Instagram scopes:

• instagram_business_basic to identify the professional account and read basic profile and media information.
• instagram_business_manage_insights to access the insights needed for account and content analysis.

Disconnect and revoke

Disconnect the account in Terano AI when you no longer want the workspace to access it. The disconnect flow deletes the Instagram permissions for the connection. You can also manage access from Instagram or Meta account controls.
